Our Story / History
Situated on the north side of Memorial Square, in the entertainment district of beautiful downtown Victoria, this architectural jewel was constructed in 1894 for the firm of A. Levi & Company. As a significant example of the "City Beautiful" architecture movement, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Operated as the Schumacher Wholesale Grocery Warehouse until 1952, the building held the city's first refrigerated grocery warehouse and to this day remains one of the least altered industrial sites in Victoria.
Now known as "Power Avenue Warehouse", in the spring of 1997, this engaging structure began a new chapter serving the community as an iconic event venue. Now, well over a century since being built, we are honored to carry on the legacy of this unique historic gem.
A little about us... we are grateful to have been born and raised right here in Victoria. We raised our own family here as well. We love caring for our community, valuing the relationships we make along the way.
